Live58 is a movement committed to empowering individuals, organizations, and churches to serve the poor and to be a voice for the voiceless. I served as Art Director and Lead Designer (2012-2013) that led the film-turned-movement through its first few years of becoming its own non-profit organization.
The original brand identity was created by the in-house creative team at Compassion International. We felt that it became quickly outdated for the demographic we were marketing to. The first step our team felt the board would allow us to adjust the brand were the colors. So we chose a softer palette that resembled the landscape of third world countries and introduced a new orange accent color.
The second place our team felt comfortable moving the brand forward was within the typefaces we used on all collateral and marketing material to strengthen the identity and enhance impact.
Once we finalized a new aesthetic it was time to redesign existing collateral and build new initiatives and marketing collateral.
