I start with care and curiosity whenever approaching a problem. Doesn't matter which one comes first because one will inevitably lead to the other. The next step is all about taste and developing a strong first impression. This isn't something that's whipped up on the fly; on the contrary, it's based on continuous discovery from data, research, insights and other similar experiences using tools like Mobbin or just downloading and experimenting with apps myself. I start with a strong opinion, held loosely. Becuase then comes collaboration. Great ideas might start with an individual, but they only come to life and become better when you work with others. I'm aware enough to know I don't know what I don't know, and getting to any great outcome involves multiple perspectives and teamwork.
With today's tools, this whole process of creating software and experiences is getting tossed up every day. I'm here for it. I love challenging the status quo and figuring out new and better ways to get things done, together. AI is an extremely amazing tool that shows a lot of potential. But I'm not going to let it do all the work for me or those around me. I'm still going to be rooted in human-centered design principles while leveraging the right tools when/where necessary because I believe there's something intrinsically special and real when humans are helping humans.
